This page details how users can request the deletion of their Cockroach Janta Party account and all associated data, in compliance with Google Play's User Data policy.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from within the CJP mobile app, or by submitting a request to our support team.
Method 1: In-App (Instant)
- Open the CJP App and log in.
- Navigate to the Profile tab.
- Tap the Settings (Gear) icon in the top right.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone / Account Actions.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at tech.cockroach@gmail.com from the email address associated with your CJP account. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
What Data Gets Deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently wiped from our active databases:
- Your personal profile information (Name, State, District, DOB).
- Your Authentication records and email login.
- All your uploaded media (Profile photos).
- Your user-generated content (Posts, Comments, Campaigns, Events) will either be deleted or fully anonymized to prevent broken links for other users.
How Long Does It Take?
In-app deletions are processed immediately. If you request deletion via email, our team will process it within 3-5 business days after verifying your identity.
